NASCAR Truck Series Betting Odds for North Carolina Education Lottery 200 Preview

Last Saturday, NASCAR hosted its first full set of races at North Wilkesboro Speedway in almost 30 years, and in the Craftsman Truck Series, Kyle Larson won the Tyson 250 on Saturday. Larson wasn’t even supposed to drive, but he filled in for the injured Alex Bowman, and he led 138 of 252 laps in winning the race in overtime. This was Larson’s third win in 15 races in the truck series, and he edged Ty Majeski by 0.974 seconds. Behind him ran Matt DiBenedetto, Carson Hocevar, Bubba Wallace and Corey Heim, who had won the pole. Larson sat in sixth after a Lap 228 restart, and he started charging from there, taking the lead from Wallace on Lap 238. This race set a truck series record of 12 cautions within 81 laps. This week, NASCAR heads to Charlotte Motor Speedway, and the truck series race, the North Carolina Education Lottery 200, is on Friday night. The action starts at 8:30 pm Eastern time, and the telecast is on FS1. You can also listen on the Motor Racing Network and the SiriusXM app. We have some of the NASCAR betting odds for the drivers, led by top favorite Kyle Busch, as well as some wager card suggestions.

Bet on the NASCAR Truck Series Education Lottery 200!

The race runs 134 laps (201 miles) and is divided into three stages. The first two stages run 30 laps each, and the last stage runs the final 74.

Kyle Busch

is the prohibitive favorite, dropping down from the Cup Series to run here. He has eight wins at Charlotte in the Craftsman Truck Series (2005, 20006, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2017, 2019) as well as seven as a team owner.

Ross Chastain

comes in as the defending race champion. He has developed a reputation for aggressive driving, and that aggressive driving has gotten him into some hot water with his fellow Cup Series drivers. It will be interesting to see if he causes more mayhem on the truck series.

Corey Heim

currently leads the Craftsman Truck Series in points. In 2023, he has one win, three top-five and five top-ten finishes this season. Given how many times Cup Series drivers have dropped down to race, that’s an impressive record so far.

Zane Smith

has two wins and five top-three finishes in 2023. At Charlotte Motor Speedway, he has two top-five and another top-ten finish in his last three races. However, it’s been feast or famine for him at this track. If he’s not in the top three, he has never finished better than 14th.

Grant Enfinger

sits at fourth in the Truck Series standings, with one victory, two top-five and four top-ten finishes so far in 2023. At Charlotte, his average finish over his last three races is 9.3, with one finish in the top five.

Christian Eckes

has two victories in 2023, most recently at Darlington, and another top-three finish on the calendar. In his last three races at Charlotte, he has cracked the top five one time.

Ty Majeski

has finished in the top ten twice at Charlotte since 2020 and has cracked the top five six times this season. He almost came away with the win last week.
