At this writing, Jelena Ostapenko has already eliminated Dominika Cibulkova in their women’s quarterfinal at Wimbledon, advancing in straight sets, 7-5, 6-4. Angelique Kerber eliminated Daria Kasatkina in straight sets as well, 6-3, 7-5. Here we consider the other two women’s quarterfinal matches, as Kiki Bertens faces Julia Goerges and Serena Williams faces Camila Giorgi. As you consider your Wimbledon betting on these two matches in what has been a wild women’s draw, take a look at our insights on each player.

2018 Wimbledon Women’s Quarterfinals Predictions (July 10)

Kiki Bertens vs Julia Goerges

Bertens appears here after having pulled off an amazing upset against Karolina Pliskova. She won 79% of her first serve points and brought across 35 winners. She also saved eight of ten break point opportunities. Julia Goerges rides her serve normally and has done no differently at this point in the tournament. In her round of 16 match against Donna Vekic, she won 64% of her service points overall and also picked up four breaks, nailing 30 winners along the way. This is the third meeting between the two, and Bertens has won both of them. There are several reasons to pick both players, though. Goerges has more overall power than Bertens, and both have picked up some big wins on grass courts. However, when Bertens won against Goerges in their last meeting, Goerges was a victim of a schedule that forced her to play a semifinal, wait a few hours, and then meet Bertens in the final at Charleston. But remember that Bertens has also taken down the venerable Venus Williams in this tournament and appears to have her head on straight for this match. 2018 Wimbledon Women’s Quarterfinals Betting Prediction: Bertens wins in straight sets

Serena Williams vs Camila Giorgi

Despite the fact that she is 36 years old, Serena Williams is still playing terrific tennis, and now she is trying to win her first Grand Slam tournament as a mother. Camila Giorgi brings the advantage of youth and speed, as she can cover the entire court. However, Serena looks locked in, despite some rough patches against Evgeniya Rodina and Kristina Mladenovic. The draw is opening up nicely for her to roll all the way to the final, thanks to all of the upsets that have happened to other key players along the way. However, Giorgi comes in with nothing to lose, and she also has some power in her game to go along with her speed. In a serve-and-volley game, Giorgi has the agility to give Williams the toughest test that she has faced in London this year. But will it matter against one of the game’s iconic players? It’s hard to see Serena faltering given the tests she has passed so far and given her pedigree at this tournament. 2018 Wimbledon Women’s Quarterfinals Betting Prediction: Williams wins in straight sets
