NASCAR Cup Series Odds and Betting Opportunities for Bass Pro Shops Night Race

Tyler Reddick took a risk in overtime, pursuing a move to the head of the field in overtime, and it paid off with a big win at the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway. He edged Denny Hamlin by 0.327 seconds; Hamlin had held the lead for 63 laps and had a lead of almost three seconds on Reddick when Chris Buescher had a tire blow on Lap 261, leading to the last caution. Reddick restarted down on the bottom of the third row and zipped ahead while Hamlin held his place in the top lane. Coming around Turn 4, he headed to the bottom and took the lead just before the start/finish line. Erik Jones took third place as Reddick picked up his fifth career win, second win this season, and his first at Kansas. This week, the Bass Pro Shops Night Race is set for Bristol Motor Speedway, and Sunday’s event will pare the field of drivers eligible for the playoff championship. The race is set for 7:30 pm Eastern time, with the action telecast on USA Network and also broadcast on PRN and SiriusXM. We have the NASCAR Cup Series Odds for each driver to win the race along with wager card suggestions.

Kyle Larson

is the favorite for a reason. He has entered 100 Cup Series races for Hendrick Motorsports, and he has won 16 of them. That’s a huge number – and it doesn’t include his record in exhibitions. Larson won in 2021 at Bristol and has led a total of 850 laps in his career at Bristol. Dover is the only track where Larson’s led lap total is even higher.

Kyle Busch

has the sixth-best average finish of any Cup Series driver over the last 10 races at Bristol (12.3). He’s got three wins in that span, which doesn’t include his win at the Bristol Dirt Race. Richmond was the last place where NASCAR used the 2023 short-track page, and Busch began the race in second and finished in third. With a terrific car and driver, this is a smart pick.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr

is a dark horse worth considering. He comes in sitting 22 points out of 12th place – the qualifying line to advance in the Cup Series playoffs. It would be hard to jump all the way from his current spot (15th) into the top 12 without a win, and his team has given him permission to pursue the win aggressively. This is the kind of track where an aggressive driver can push to the front and hold on. We saw this when Chris Buescher won the 2022 Bristol Night Race. Matt DiBenedetto would have paid off handsomely in 2019 if Ryan Newman hadn’t blocked him near the end and let Denny Hamlin steal the win. In his last six races here, though, Stenhouse has failed to crack the top 20; before that, though, he was in the top 21 11 straight times, including six top-ten finishes and four in the top five. Other concrete tracks have treated him well; in 2022, he was the runner-up at Dover, and he came in sixth in 2021 at Nashville.
