NASCAR 2019 Bank of America ROVAL 400 Odds & Betting Preview

NASCAR 2019 Bank of America ROVAL 400 Odds & Betting Preview

The Charlotte Roval will host the Bank of America 400 ROVAL 400, where the first round of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series playoffs will come to a close. After this week, the field will drop from 16 to 12. Martin Truex Jr, Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch have already qualified for the next round, and Joey Logano, Denny Hamlin and Brad Keselowski only need to crack the top 30 to move on. Of course, any driver who wins the race moves on automatically, so drivers like Erik Jones are more likely to push hard as that is his only way to advance. Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott should also be safe, but there are others in the top 16 who need to get stage points, which is a big deal at road courses like this. We have the NASCAR odds for you to peruse as well as sports betting thoughts on your best wagering choices.

Martin Truex Jr.

Truex Jr. has won the first two playoff races, so there is no reason to expect that he will not be on top of his game coming this week. He also won the first race in Charlotte in 2019 and has six top-three finishes in his last eight races at this track. His last four appearances have been even better, as he has either won or come in second three times. There is not much value here, but he has been so hot a racer lately that you have to add him.

Kevin Harvick

Harvick has unusually long odds this week given the form he has shown the past couple of months. It is true that he has not won at the Charlotte Motor Speedway since 2014, but he has 15 top-ten finishes in his last 18 races here. In the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Harvick has also put together a stellar resume. Take advantage of these unbalanced odds by adding him to your wagers before the moneyline drops.

Brad Keselowski

Keselowski has four top-five finishes in his last five races, and he won the ROVAL 400 in 2013. In his last 12 races at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, he has seven top-ten finishes, and he has four victories here in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. It is hard to believe that he has not won a race since May; given his propensity for winning when the biggest races take place, he is a smart pick for this weekend.

Kyle Busch

Busch almost won last week but ended up coming in second to Truex. Even so, he has four top-six finishes in his last six starts. At the Charlotte Motor Speedway, he has nine top-six finishes in his last 16 races, and he won the Coca-Cola 600 here in 2018. If you look at his work here with the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series, he has won 16 races here across all competitions.

Jimmie Johnson

Johnson has won this race four times, more than any other driver in the field. It has been three years since he won here, but he has six top-eight finishes in his last seven Charlotte Motor Speedway races. He is offering a ton of value, and if there is any driver who will put it all on the line for a win to move on, he is definitely worth the risk.
