Kyle Busch

Busch has the pole position going in, but the pole driver has just won one time in the last 12 races at the “Tricky Triangle.” The average starting position for the winner over the last 12 races has been 9.58. Busch, as we mentioned, won the last two races here as wel as three in the last four. He already has four wins in 2019 — and his last one came here in June.

Brad Keselowski

Keselowski has seven top-five finishes in his last eight races at Pocono, including three runner-up finishes. The only time he failed to make it into the top five happened after a crash. However, he has not won at Pocono in eight years.

Kevin Harvick

Harvick has also never won at Pocono in 37 career races. However, in this last 10 NASCAR races here, he has seven top-five finishes — and four second-place finishes. So this could be his week to break through and deliver consecutive wins.

Kurt Busch

Busch did win in Kentucky a few weeks ago, but he only has three top-ten finishes in his last eight races. Pocono Raceway could be an exception for him, though, as he has won this race twice and has won on this track four times overall, most recently at the 2016 Axalta “We Paint Winners 400. He also has come in second five different times here. He offers a lot of value — and he would win two races in the same year for the first time in four seasons if he can pull this off.

Denny Hamlin

Hamlin was right there until the end last week, and he has crept up the moneyline list this week as a result. In his last 11 races at Pocono Raceway, he has seven top-ten finishes, and he has won this particular race twice, with four wins on the Tricky Triangle overall, most recently in 2010 when he won the Gillette Fusion ProGlide 500. He also has three top-five finishes in his last five races, so it is worth taking a look at him with his value.

Erik Jones

Jones is an interesting pick as a sleeper. He finished third when the circuit was here seven weeks ago, giving him two third-place finishes at the Tricky Triangle in five career starts. In his last eight races overall in 2019, he has finished third four times. He could be ready to break through, and that value he offers makes him worth a slot on your wager card.
