NFL Week 14 ATS Betting Picks & Predictions

Written by on December 6, 2023

The Minnesota Vikings will give quarterback Josh Dobbs at least one more start this Sunday in Las Vegas. Dobbs got off to a spectacular start with the Vikings but has committed six turnovers in the last two contests, both losses. Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell pondered using Nick Mullens or Jaren Hall as the starter before deciding to adjust the offense to suit Dobbs’ skills. The team’s offense had been built around Kirk Cousins, a conventional pocket passer. Dobbs is much more mobile and does well creating chances outside the pocket, which means that the team will run fewer plays that require routes based on timing. Star wide receiver Justin Jefferson will also return against Las Vegas after missing seven games with a hamstring injury. Which NFL Week 14 games should you include in your NFL betting? Check out our thoughts.

2023 NFL Week 14 ATS Top Picks

New England Patriots (+6) at Pittsburgh Steelers (O/U 31)
Denver Broncos (+2.5) at L.A. Chargers (O/U 44)
Philadelphia Eagles (+3.5) at Dallas Cowboys (O/U 52)
Tennessee Titans (+13) at Miami Dolphins (O/U 46.5)

New England Patriots at Pittsburgh Steelers TNF in Week 14

When: Thursday, December 7, 2023, 8:15 pm ET
Where: Acrisure Stadium, Pittsburgh, PA
TV/Live Stream: Prime Video

The Patriots held the L.A. Chargers to just six points at home last week. The problem was that the Patriots didn’t score any. The Steelers only managed 10 points against an iffy Arizona defense while permitting 24. Both Bill Belichick and Mike Tomlin are defense-first coaches; in combination with the fact that neither starting quarterback is likely to play as Bailey Zappe appears set to duel with Mitch Trubisky, the “under” seems like a solid pick despite being just 31 points. The Steelers are better on both sides of the ball, but not much. Steelers to win and cover, take the under.

Denver Broncos at L.A. Chargers in Week 14

When: Sunday, December 10, 2023, 4:25 pm ET
Where: SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, CA
TV/Live Stream: CBS

The Chargers edged the hapless Patriots on the road, but before that they had lost three straight, falling to the Lions and Packers (by a combined six points) and the Ravens by ten. The Chargers are still in playoff contention, but so are the Broncos, and they are looking more consistent on both sides of the ball. You can’t say that the Chargers’ defense is soft anymore, but Denver’s offense is a lot more together than the Patriots’. Broncos to cover.

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys SNF in Week 14

When: Sunday, December 10, 2023, 8:20 pm ET
Where: SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, CA
TV/Live Stream: NBC

The 49ers took advantage of problems in the Philadelphia secondary, and the Cowboys have the weapons to do the same – assuming that the Dallas O-line can give Dak Prescott time in the pocket. In Week 9, the Cowboys almost won in Philadelphia and have not lost since, picking up four straight victories. The Dallas secondary will also need to stand firm against Jalen Hurts. I think this is another track meet that comes down to the last play. Eagles to cover, take the over.

Tennessee Titans at Miami Dolphins MNF

When: Monday, December 11, 2023, 8:15 pm ET
Where: Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, FL
TV/Live Stream: ESPN

Tennessee has exactly zero shutdown corners, and their pass rush is even less of a problem than Washington’s was – and the Dolphins rolled by 30 over the Commanders last week. Tua Tagovailoa found Tyreek Hill for two huge touchdowns, and Jaylen Waddle should get some more open looks as the Titans move to keep the ball out of Hill’s hands. The Tennessee rushing defense started the season strong but has started giving up some big plays as well. The Titans still have Will Levis running the offense, and that 48.5% pass completion rate he posted against the Colts last week just will not work. Dolphins to win and cover.
