Wager Wisely with our Top NFL Prop Bets You Don’t Want to Miss in 2024

Now that we’re through the 2024 NFL draft, we know a lot more about the talent that each of the 32 teams is likely to have on the field. Obviously, there are some undrafted free agents to be signed and some trades on the way, but we know a lot more about what teams need – and what they now have. The Kansas City Chiefs enter the summer as the defending Super Bowl champions, but with wide receiver Rashee Rice facing a lengthy suspension, the success of their offense is a real question. An interesting team to watch for 2024 is the Cincinnati Bengals, who almost made it into the playoffs despite losing Joe Burrow for almost half the season and seeing Tee Higgins struggle at wide receiver. They brought in Amarius Mims in the first round to shore up the offensive line, and Kris Jenkins came in the second round to fill a need on the defensive line. Beyond the eventual Super Bowl victors, though, check out the NFL Top Betting Props for the coming season that should interest you.

NFL Top Betting Props for the 2024 Season | NFL Picks

Coach of the Year Odds

  • Jim Harbaugh (L.A. Chargers) +650
  • Matt Eberflus (Chicago Bears), Raheem Morris (Atlanta Falcons) +900
  • Matt LaFleur (Green Bay Packers), Demeco Ryans (Houston Texans) +1100
  • Jonathan Gannon (Arizona Cardinals), Dan Campbell (Detroit Lions) +1500
  • Shane Steichen (Indianapolis Colts) +1600
  • Dave Canales (Carolina Panthers) +1800

Jim Harbaugh

Jim Harbaugh brings a winning culture with him. He led the San Francisco 49ers to a Super Bowl and guided Michigan past Ohio State to multiple CFP berths, including a national championship last year. The NFL doesn’t have the same sort of rules about recruiting that now have Harbaugh’s former team facing three years of probation, so as long as Harbaugh can keep his staff from breaking rules about filming opponents (rules that led to sanctions for the New England Patriots), and as long as he still has it as far as systems on both sides of the ball, he has a terrific quarterback in place in Justin Herbert. The cupboard is a bit bare at wide receiver after the departures of Mike Williams and Keenan Allen.

Matt Eberflus

Matt Eberflus enters his third season in Chicago and has just a .294 winning percentage so far. The Bears started 0-4 in 2023 but then finished 7-6 and improved dramatically on defense. The offense will be surprisingly high-octane with first-round draft pick Caleb Williams at quarterback and such wide receivers as Keenan Allen and D.J. Moore, so the wins could start piling up earlier in the season.

NFL Top Betting Props: Rookie of the Year Odds

  • Caleb Williams (QB, Chicago Bears) +210
  • Marvin Harrison Jr (WR, Arizona Cardinals) +600
  • Jayden Daniels (QB, Washington Commanders) +900
  • J.J. McCarthy (QB, Minnesota Vikings) +1100
  • Malik Nabers (WR, N.Y. Giants) +1400
  • Drake Maye (QB, New England Patriots) +1500
  • Xavier Worthy (WR, Kansas City Chiefs) +1600
  • Bo Nix (QB, Denver Broncos) +2100
  • Keon Coleman (WR, Buffalo Bills) +2100
  • Rome Odunze (WR, Chicago Bears) +2500

Caleb Williams

Williams did win a Heisman Trophy in 2022 and also set a single-season passing yardage record. In 2023, he posted a 30:5 TD:INT ratio. He joins the Bears as the face of a franchise that now has two elite wide receivers and Odunze as an explosive third option. We’ve seen Heisman Trophy quarterbacks collapse in the past, but the system that Williams operated for Lincoln Riley for USC also produced such solid quarterbacks as Jalen Hurts and Baker Mayfield.

Marvin Harrison Jr

Harrison Jr joins an Arizona team that welcomes back quarterback Kyler Murray. At 6’4” Harrison shredded secondaries while at Ohio State. He had two straight years of at least 1,200 receiving yards and 14 or more receiving touchdowns.

Jayden Daniels and J.J. McCarthy

Daniels and McCarthy are interesting additions at quarterback. Daniels is the latest solution as franchise quarterback in Washington and is one of the most athletic signal-callers in the sport. He has the sort of speed that no Washington quarterback has possessed since RGIII.

McCarthy heads to Minnesota to replace Kirk Cousins. He is the reigning national champion and is solid in the area of ball security. He has Justin Jefferson ready to run routes for him. If the Vikings can get a solid tailback, McCarthy could lead a dangerous offense.
