NFL Week 10 Odds, Overview & Predictions for Every Game

Written by on November 6, 2018

Last week in the National Football League, the last unbeaten fell, as the Los Angeles Rams lost in New Orleans, 45-35. The Saints had run out to a 35-14 lead before the Rams roared back to tie it, only to see the Saints run off the last 10 points to seal the win. The Washington Redskins moved to an unlikely two-game lead in the NFC East, as Philadelphia continues to struggle and Jason Garrett finds himself on the hot seat in Dallas after an underwhelming 28-14 loss to Tennessee on Monday Night Football. What can we expect in the week ahead? Check out our NFL Week 10 betting predictions for each matchup. As always, home teams are in all caps.

  • Bye Week: Baltimore, Denver, Houston, Minnesota

Thursday, November 8, 8:20pm ET

Carolina (+6.5) over PITTSBURGH

The Steelers come in on a four-game winning streak, while the Panthers have won three in a row. As well as both offenses are playing, I see this coming down to the last team holding the ball — which means the final margin will be less than a score. I see the Steelers winning, but Carolina covering.

CHICAGO (-6) over Detroit

Chicago has won five of their first eight, but one of those losses came by one point (in Green Bay), another in overtime (in Miami) and the third by seven in New England, in a game where Chicago actually completed a Hail Mary — to the 1-yard line. Their last two wins have been by a combined 65-19, over the Jets and Bills. The Lions are on a two-game skid that will soon become three.

CINCINNATI (+4.5) over New Orleans

The Saints haven’t lost since the opener, and they pulled off a huge win in prime time to take down the Rams. If there’s a time for a letdown, it’s in an early afternoon game on a cold day in Cincinnati, who hung 37 on Tampa Bay last week.

Atlanta (-3.5) over CLEVELAND

Yes, Hue Jackson is gone in Cleveland, so the team should improve. However, Atlanta showed signs of coming together quite nicely in their demolition of Washington last week — in which Julio Jones finally scored a touchdown.

New England (-6) over TENNESSEE

It almost never makes sense to pick against the Patriots, because they usually win the fourth quarter by two touchdowns at this point of the season. Expect the Titans to fall back to earth after their win at Dallas.

INDIANAPOLIS (-3) over Jacksonville

The Colts won two in a row before going into their bye week, and they play the Jaguars, who had lost four straight going into theirs — and they had to come back from London. I like the Colts’ offense right now, and the Jaguars’ defense looks to be in shambles.

KANSAS CITY (-17) over Arizona

What a huge line! But the Cardinals released Sam Bradford, so it’s sink or swim for Josh Rosen. This could turn into a track meet early for the Chiefs.

N.Y. JETS (-8) over Buffalo

The Bills have a solid defense, but they get worn out by the middle of the third quarter because the Buffalo offense is so dreadful. Even Sam Darnold and the Jets will be able to take advantage.

Washington (PK) over TAMPA BAY

If you give up 37 points to Cincinnati (as the Buccaneers did last week), you’re not going to get my pick to beat a Washington team that can take control of games as long as nothing goes wrong.

Sunday, November 11, 4:05pm ET

L.A. Chargers (-10) over OAKLAND

What star will the Raiders trade away this week? The rebuild in Oakland is looking more like a controlled demolition.

Sunday, November 11, 4:25pm ET

GREEN BAY (-7.5) over Miami

Expect the Packers to take out some frustrations from their loss in New England on their AFC East bunkmates when the Dolphins come to Lambeau.

Seattle (+9.5) over L.A. RAMS

Suddenly, that Ram defense doesn’t look so unstoppable, and the team is having a hard time holding onto late leads.

Sunday, November 11, 8:20pm ET

PHILADELPHIA (-6) over Dallas

If Dallas can’t stay within two touchdowns of Tennessee at home, with a bye week to prepare, how will they stay within a touchdown of the Eagles?

Monday, November 12, 8:15pm ET

SAN FRANCISCO (-2.5) over N.Y. Giants

Nick Mullens, baby! The former Southern Miss quarterback led an embarrassment of the Oakland Raiders last Thursday, and he’s ready for the G-men.
