It should be an amazing 2017 Major League Baseball season. The beginning of the season is popular for future bets. Betting the Boston Red Sox to win the American League East — While the AL East is a tough division, much like the Chicago Cubs, you would be crazy not to take this bet. The Boston Red Sox come into the season as a favorite to win the division. The Red Sox can hit, and their starting pitching improved during the offseason. The Boston Red Sox at -110 to win the American League East is a great bet. 3. The Cleveland Indians are going to win back to back American League titles — At +900 to win the American League, this seems like a great bet. Sure, Boston is going to be solid, but who else is going to compete with the Indians? Cleveland is loaded out of the American League Central. Bet the Cleveland Indians to win the American League Central, that’s a gimme but look at the +900 bet to win the American League. 4. Kris Bryant is NOT going to win the National League Most Valuable Player — After an amazing season last year, Bryant will still be really good. The problem is – this season Corey Seager is going to pull a Kris Bryant. Seager is going to go from the National League Rookie of the Year to the Most Valuable Player. Seager is going to make the Dodgers really look like a contender all season. 5. Chris Sale will love playing for the Red Sox — The lefthander that came over from the Chicago White Sox is going to love playing for Boston. Sale is nasty and has great stuff. Look for him to get great run support, which will help the former Florida Gulf Coast hurler out a ton. Sale is the favorite to win the 2017 Cy Young in the American League.
