eSports Betting: Dota 2 ONE Esports SEA League Odds & Pricks July 12

Written by on July 10, 2020

Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena video game that serves as a sequel to Defense of the Ancients (DOTA) which came out as a community-made mod for Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne, its expansion pack. Dota 2 matches involve two teams of five players. Each team has its own base on the map, and each of the players controls a hero, with unique play styles and abilities. If your team can destroy the other team’s fortress, called an “Ancient,” you win. This is one of many multiplayer online battle arena video games that has developed a professional player following. The ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League has ten teams competing for a part of a prize pool of $100,000 US.

Dota 2 ONE Esports SEA League: July 12 Matches

Right now, we’re in the middle of group play. This takes place in a single round-robin format, playing to the best of two, and the top four teams will advance to the Upper Bracket. The fifth through eighth seeds will go to the Lower Bracket, and the last two teams will be eliminated. Playoffs will take place in a double-elimination bracket. Let’s check the Dota 2 Odds for July 12th matches.

Standings (as of July 10)

  • Team / Match Record (W-D-L) / Game Record / Points
  • Fnatic / 5-2-1 / 12-4 / 17
  • TNC Predator / 4-3-0 / 11-3 / 15
  • Geek Fam / 3-4-1 / 10-6 / 13
  • Neon Esports / 3-4-2 / 10-8 / 13
  • BOOM Esports / 3-3-3 / 9-9 / 12
  • NEW Esports / 3-2-4 / 8-10 / 11
  • T1 / 3-1-4 / 7-9 / 10
  • Reality Rift / 2-3-3 / 7-9 / 9

Sunday, July 12

BOOM Esports vs Execration (2:00 am ET)

  • BOOM Esports WINS VIA FORFEIT

Reality Rift vs Team Adroit (2:00 am ET)

Reality Rift and Team Adroit will meet for the 12th time when they tangle on Sunday. Team Adroit has dominated the series, winning 9 of the first 11 encounters. However, Reality Rift did win the last match in BTS Pro Series Season 2: Southeast Asia.

Reality Rift has won twice, lost twice and drawn once in their last five matches. However, one of those wins came against Execration, who withdrew from the tournament and is taking forfeits. Their other win came over NEW Esports, representing a bit of an upset. They drew with Geek Fam and lost to TNC Predator and Fnatic, the top two teams in the league. Team Adroit has won one, lost one and drawn three in their last five. Their win came over BOOM Esports, while they lost to Fnatic and drew Neon Esports, T1 and TNC Predator. These are two teams struggling to break through with signature wins, especially if you take Reality Rift’s “win” over Execration out of consideration. I’m going to take Team Adroit since they fought TNC Predator, the only remaining unbeaten team in the league, to a draw.

  • Prediction: Team Adroit wins

T1 vs TNC Predator (4:00 am ET)

T1 is still looking for its first win ever against TNC Predator, as they have dropped two and drawn one in the first three matchups in the rivalry. All of their prior meetings took place in the BTS Pro Series: Southeast Asia.

T1 has dropped three matches, won once and drawn once in their last five. Their win came over BOOM Esports, while they lost to Geek FAm, Neon Esports and Fnatic. They drew Team Adroit. TNC Predator had a four-match winning streak going before they drew Geek Fam on July 10. TNC Predator has not yet lost a match in league play, and I don’t see T1 ending that.

  • Prediction: TNC Predator wins
