That’s the most he has ever won in six Cup Series seasons and the most by any Cup Series driver this year. He beat Denny Hamlin by a whopping 2.632 seconds to get the victory, leading 66 of the 90 laps overall and growing his lead on each of the last 10 laps. Hamlin kept himself in the running for the Cup Series Regular season Championship, now trailing Martin Truex Jr by 39 points going into the last race of the regular season – the Coke Zero Sugar 400. Kyle Larson

Chris Buescher

has 12 top-ten finishes in 34 superspeedway races, a 35% top-ten finish rate that ranks sixth in this field.

Erik Jones

has two plate-track wins, in the Busch Clash and in the Daytona race back in the summer of 2018. In the last seven Talladega races, he has six top-ten finishes, and he has four straight top-15 finishes at the renovated Atlanta track.
