XFL Week 10 Betting Odds & Lines: Must Bet Games for Weekend

XFL Week 10 Betting Odds & Lines: Must Bet Games for Weekend

Written by on April 19, 2023

It looked like the D.C. Defenders were going to cover that 8 ½-point spread at home against a mostly moribund Arlington Renegades team – until the last minutes of the fourth quarter. The Renegades overcame a double-digit deficit in the last two minutes of regulation to force overtime, only to see the Defenders get a two-point score to take the win. San Antonio and St. Louis got big wins over Orlando and Seattle, respectively, to keep their postseason hopes alive going into Week 10, the regular season finale. We’ll break down each of the weekend’s four XFL games as you plan your XFL betting for the weekend.

XFL Betting Analysis and Prediction: Week 10 | XFL Lines

Orlando Guardians (+8.5) at St. Louis Battlehawks (O/U 47.5)

Orlando +280 / St. Louis -375

When: Saturday, April 22 at 12:00 pm ET
Where: The Dome at America’s Center, St. Louis, MO
TV / Streaming: ESPN / ESPN+

Orlando comes in with a lot less motivation than St. Louis, as the Battlehawks struggled mightily on offense. A.J. McCarron went just 18 fo 32 for 186 yards and a score – but he also threw a pair of picks. The running game only picked up 54 yards, as the offensive line failed to open holes and failed to help out McCarron, who took four sacks. On defense, the Battlehawks gave up a lot of chunk plays in the passing game. Orlando lost by two to San Antonio last week, and quarterback Quinten Dormady has turned the ball over six times in their last two games. The Guardians’ defense has permitted 223.6 passing yards per game this season, second-worst in the league. St. Louis to win and cover.

D.C. Defenders (-3) at San Antonio Brahmas (O/U 41.5)

D.C. -155 / San Antonio +130

When: Saturday, April 22 at 3:00 pm ET
Where: Alamodome, San Antonio, TX
TV / Streaming: ABC / ESPN+ / ESPN

The Defenders have their playoff ticket in hand, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see them rest some key players. They did have a defensive meltdown late against Arlington last week, so you might see more offensive starters taking some time off than you would on defense. San Antonio got a solid passing game out of Jack Coan last week, as he threw for 302 yards as a score. Coan needs another lights-out game like that if the Brahmas have a chance to pull off this upset as home underdogs. The Brahmas are only averaging 15.7 points per game this year, so D.C. should be able to keep things under control. DC to win and cover.

Houston Roughnecks (+1) at Arlington Renegades (O/U 42.5)

Houston -105 / Arlington -115

When: Sunday, April 16 at 3:00 pm ET<
Where: Choctaw Stadium, Arlington, TX
TV / Streaming: ESPN / ESPN+

Arlington clinches a playoff spot with a win here, while Houston already has a playoff spot in hand. Last week, Luis Perez played well against D.C., going 31 of 41 for 335 yards, a score and a pick, the best numbers from any Renegades starting quarterback this season. Houston struggled offensively last week, and Arlington comes in with a stout defense and more motivation. Arlington to win and cover.

Vegas Vipers (+8.5) at Seattle Sea Dragons (O/U 47)

Vegas +310 / Seattle -400

When: Sunday, April 16 at 7:00 pm ET
Where: Lumen Field, Seattle, WA
TV / Streaming: ESPN 2 / ESPN+

Seattle is in the playoffs if they win and the Battlehawks lose. If both teams win, St. Louis has to put up 19 more points than Seattle does, and St. Louis has to rank first in fewest points permitted to win the tiebreaker. Vegas has a 1-2 record with Jalan McClendon at quarterback, and their defense allows almost 25 points per game. Ben DiNucci should be able to guide the Seattle offense to a win, but this is a big spread. Vegas to cover.
