Red Sox May Pay Off in MLB Betting vs Blue Jays This Wednesday

Dickey (0-2, 5.25 ERA) is set to get the start on Wednesday. Dickey has been unlucky not to get a win yet this season, as the Jays bats seem to go gold when he is on the mound. He was hit hard in his last start versus the Rays, though, and will need to improve against a hard-hitting Boston team. Boston (11-9) got off to a very solid start this season, but have faltered in 3 straight series versus division foes. They went 3-4 against the Orioles and 1-2 versus the Rays over the last 10 games, but did manage to win the first game in this series versus the Jays. They actually have similar problems to Toronto in that they are scoring a lot of runs, but don’t seem able to stop their opponents from also getting on the board on an all too regular basis. After this series, they will have another 89 straight games against division opponents, giving them ample opportunity to get back on top if they can perform well. Rick Porcello (1-2, 6.48 ERA) is the scheduled starter for Boston on Wednesday. Porcello needs to become more consistent, as he is basically going from pitching well to getting hammered in his 4 starts to this point.
