Joe Ross is one of the more intriguing young pitchers in the National League. None of the current Dodgers have ever gotten a hit off him (and only four of them have ever faced him). The Dodgers are making a run in the West right now, and it’s not just Clayton Kershaw. Justin Turner is hitting .467 in his last eight games, and when the air is hot in Los Angeles, the ball tends to fly a little farther — and it’s in the 90s there this week. Corey Seager had three extra base hits last week to go along with Turner’s three RBIs in the Dodgers’ win on Monday. If that offense keeps cooking, Urias might get all the run support he needs.
