Martin Perez is on the hill for Texas, and he has struggled to put together strong starts. He did beat the Yankees his last time out, but he was knocked around the outing before than by the White Sox. He got a in in his first start, throwing seven shutout innings, and in his last three starts he has given up a total of eight earned runs, but the Blue Jays have scored a combined four runs for him in those games. If Estrada can control the Rangers and the Blue Jays can get to Perez, the Blue Jays should be able to win.
