Can you Bet on LFA? For some MMA fight fans, the UFC is the center of the universe, which makes sense when you consider that the best fighters in the world do their business with that organization. The reality, though, is that it is not the only game in town, and there are some other very good organizations out there delivering quality fights. The LFA is one of those organizations, and they have a big event coming our way this Saturday night at 7 PM EST.
Bet on LFA: Mecate vs Visconde and Main Card, Preview and Picks
If you have UFC Fight Pass, you can tune into what looks like a very solid main card, plus you can wager on all the bouts here at MyBookie. With that in mind, let’s take a look at the top 5 fights, with predictions for each.
Shealor Ladd vs Pedro Lay Jr.
We get the main card rolling with a Light Heavyweight bout featuring a pair of fighters still in the early stages of their pro careers. Ladd is 2-0, with both of his wins coming in the LFA, and also both finishing inside the distance. Lay is also 2-0, with just 1 of those fights coming under the LFA banner. He has also not yet had to go the distance. I am taking Ladd to win this one.
^Edmund Kwan vs Loai Abushaar
The following match is a Lightweight contest, and although neither competitor has many fights to their name, both are gaining momentum. Kwan enters this match holding an impressive 4-0 record, having secured victories in both of his contests under the LFA banner He has yet to go beyond the 2nd round in any bout. Abushaar is sitting at 4-1, winning his last bout after taking his first career loss. This is his first fight with the LFA, and I think he might be in trouble, so I am taking Kwan for the KO win.

Rafael do Nascimento vs Arnold Jimenez
As we move up the main card, we start to get to more experienced fighters, and we have a couple of good ones here. Do Nascimento boast a 10-3 record (4-2 in the LFA), but he has struggled of late, going just 2-2 in his last 4 fights. Jimenez has a record of 12-3, and while that is impressive, it is worth noting that he is just 1-2 in his time with the LFA. I do think this one will go the distance, and I like do Nascimento to get the decision.
^Chris Gonzalez vs Jacob Rosales
This one serves as the co-main event of the night and is a Lightweight bout between a pair of very good fighters. Gonzalez comes into this one with an 8-3 record, with all but one of those fights taking place in the LFA. He is, though, just 2-3 in his last 5, so he needs a win. Rosales has bounced around different organizations to post a 16-9 pro record. This seems like an evenly matched bout, but I am taking Gonzalez for the decision win.
^Erick Visconde vs Chris Mecate
We close the night out with the main event of the evening, which is a very evenly balanced looking bout. Visconde comes in with a 15-3 record (2-1 in the LFA) and a positive run of form that has seen him win 4 of his last 5 fights. Mecate is 11-2 overall (3-1 in the LFA) but he is very much a man in form, as he comes into this bout on a 6-fight win streak. I think he keeps that streak alive, but he might need to go the distance.
