The course plays at par-70 and runs 7,243 yards. Running at par-70 means that the course only offers two par-5 holes – and seven of the 12 par-4 holes run more than 450 yards. This means that players who can hit the fairway off the tee and have strong approach play are more likely to do well here. TPC Southwind has some of the tightest fairways on the PGA Tour, and the course has 75 bunkers and features water hazards on 11 of the 18 holes. The average green size is about 4,300 square feet, just two-thirds the size of what golfers saw last week at Sedgefield.
