NASCAR Cup Series Odds XFINITY 500 Odds and Betting Picks

Last week, Christopher Bell won the 4EVER 400 to ensure a spot in the Championship 4 race, which comes in two weeks in Phoenix. He had a difficult start and did not make into the top five until the last 50 laps of the race. He zipped around two of the day’s leaders in the last laps to take the lead and win his second race of 2023 and his sixth Cup Series race in his career. Last year, he came out of nowhere to win in the last race of the regular season at Martinsville to get into the playoffs and ended up finishing third. He and Kyle Larson are in for the Championship 4, and this week’s Xfinity 500 at Martinsville will determine the other two finalists.

The race is set for Sunday at 2:00 pm Eastern time, and you can catch the action on NBC, Motor Racing Network, or SiriusXM. We have the NASCAR betting odds for each driver and suggestions for your wager cards.

**-clinched a spot in the Championship 4

Denny Hamlin

Denny Hamlin was cruising to a victory at Homestead last week, but he ended up finding a wall with 32 laps left and did not finish. Now, he’s on the outside looking in when it comes to making the top four. The only way Hamlin gets in is to win the race outright; with too many other high-point drivers between him and that fourth spot, he’s going to need to jump over them all. Luckily for him, he has already won here five times, although the last came in 2010. In the last five races here, though, he has led more than 100 laps three times, including 276 laps in one. He’s the favorite for a reason, and he’s a smart pick here.

Joey Logano

Joey Logano has not picked up a win at Martinsville since the fall of 2018, when he wrecked Martin Truex Jr on the last turn of the last lap. In the nine races since then, though, he has eight top-ten finishes, including four top-fives and two runner-ups. The two runner-up results came in the last three races, in the same NextGen car he’ll be driving on Sunday.

William Byron

William Byron settled for 25th place in the spring race at Martinsville, but it was a mechanical issue that pushed him down out of the top 15 into that final spot after Stage 3, and the dirty air that day did not help. The Next Gen car is vulnerable because of its aero dependence, but the air should be better, and Byron has had a solid season. He had seven straight top-ten finishes at Martinsville before the spring race, including a win in 2022 among four top-five results.

Ryan Blaney just needs a solid points day to get into the Championship 4, and this has been one of his best tracks. He’s led more than 100 laps in two different races here at the Paperclip.
