NFL Playoffs Picks: Wild Card, Divisional, Conference & Super Bowl Predictions

NFL Playoffs Picks: Wild Card, Divisional, Conference & Super Bowl Predictions

Written by on December 30, 2025

There is just one week remaining in the NFL regular season, and while most of the NFL Playoff spots have been filled in both conferences, there is still a lot to be decided. We have a few games that really stand out on the Week 18 schedule. One will decide the top seed in the NFC, while we also have two games that will put one team in and knock the other out. It simply doesn’t get any more dramatic or exciting than that. With all of that in mind, let’s take a look at both conferences as we try to figure out how the playoffs will go this season.

The Current State of the NFC Conference

We will know which team will head into the playoffs as the #1 seed in the NFC by Saturday night. It will either be the Seattle Seahawks or the San Francisco 49ers, with those two teams set to hook up on Saturday. Things don’t get much bigger than that, but it is not the only game on the Week 18 schedule that is a must watch. We also have Carolina and Tampa Bay meeting on Saturday. The winner of that one wins the division and takes the #4 seed. The loser is out of the playoffs.

We will need to wait until all the games play out before we get to the bracket, but who do the bookies like to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl?

LA Rams +260
Seattle Seahawks +275
San Francisco 49ers +450
Philadelphia Eagles +450

The #1 seed is going to be absolutely huge in the playoff picture. I think the 49ers might be the ones to get it, and I think that puts them in a great spot, especially since they have the best conference record right now.

The Current State of the AFC Conference

We have a very similar situation happening in the AFC, with lots still to play for in Week 18. The Denver Broncos are in control of their own destiny, as a win in the final week of the season will give them the #1 seed and an opening round bye. The New England Patriots have the same number of wins (13) and will be ready to pounce if the Broncos slip up against the Charger. We also have the Steelers and Ravens meeting up in a winner take all game on Sunday. The AFC North goes to the winner, while the losing team is done for the year.

Again, we need to wait for the playoff bracket to sort itself out after this coming weekend’s action, but here is who the bookies currently like to win the AFC and head to the Super Bowl:

Denver Broncos +325
New England Patriots +375
Buffalo Bills +500
Jacksonville Jaguars +550

While the Broncos look set to take the #1 seed, I am not sold on them going all the way to the Super Bowl. The Jacksonville Jaguars look like a solid dark horse pick to me.

Who Will Win the Super Bowl?

Given the current state of the standings, making any sort of prediction without seeing the bracket is tough. I don’t think there is any one team that stands out as a potential champion right now. I have my eye on the Jaguars, but we are going to need to wait and see how things go down this weekend and just how tough the road to the championship will be for all teams involved.
