At the Spanish Grand Prix, Hamilton won again to lead the Drivers’ Standings. Max Verstappen, racing for Red Bull, made it onto the podium for the first time. The last part of the Spanish Grand Prix course resembles the course in Monaco thanks to the curves in play. The Monaco Grand Prix is known for the challenges it presents to people who want to pass because of the narrow and winding streets. Qualifying, then, will be crucial for overall race success, as opening position will have a great deal to say about who wins. Of the last 64 Monaco Grand Prix winners, 54 have been one of the top three qualifiers. The last winner to come from beyond the top three was Olivier Panis, who won way back in 1996, coming up from the 14th qualifying spot. The Red Bull cars have strong positioning in the odds, with Verstappen and Ricciardo featuring 5/2 odds to get the pole in qualifying.
