Princeton Tigers over Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Why not, right? This is the first game of the tournament, and we know fans would love to see a monster tournament to kick it off. Mike Brey and his Irish have got to be ready for a very smart, and disciplined team. The Tigers won 22 games this season, and downed Yale in the Ivy League title game. The Tigers have won 18 straight games. Look for Notre Dame to overlook them a little bit. The point spread for this game is Notre Dame -7, but look for a real stunner with Princeton winning.

East Tennessee State Buccaneers over Florida Gators

Just something about the way the Florida Gators are playing right now is not something we like to see. The Gators fell in their first two games of the regular season. The Buccaneers are looking to keep rolling after winning the Southern Conference title. The Buccaneers are 27-7 on the season. This would be a stunner, because the Gators have been so good in the regular season.

Florida Gulf Coast Eagles over Florida State Seminoles

If we are picking the Florida Gators to lose, we cannot pick the Florida State Seminoles to lose as well, right? Both of those games are going to take place in Orlando, where the Gators and Seminoles will have a huge crowd. But, another state school has a say when the Gulf Coast Eagles play Thursday night. Look for the dunk city crowd, and all the neutral fans to be loud and proud. The Seminoles going down in the first round would be a stunner! Florida State is -12.

New Mexico State Aggies over Baylor Bears

New Mexico State is +12 in this game against the Big 12’s Baylor Bears. If there is a team that would get knocked off in the first round it’s Scott Drew and his Bears. The Bears competed all season long as one of the top teams in the Big 12. Look for the Aggies have lost just 5 games all season. They finished second in the Western Athletic Conference, but downerd Cal State Bakersfield in the title game by 10. This has a great chance to be an upset, and would be a monster stunner.

Rhode Island Rams over Creighton Blue Jays

The Rhode Island Rams are on fire. They are coming off an Atlantic 10 Conference title, downing VCU. The Rams are looking for their 24th win of the season. Creighton comes in after finishing third in the Big East. The Blue Jays just have struggled to find any consistency in the last few weeks of the season. This has the potential to be an upset right at the end. This could be one of the best games of the weekend. The Rams are +2 in this game. There you have it.
