Buckle Up South Carolina 200: Truck Series Betting Odds & Picks

Last Saturday, Corey Heim drove to victory at the Heart of America 200 at Kansas Speedway, taking his second NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series win of 2024. He overcame some loose handling in the last laps, taking the lead away from Nick Sanchez on Lap 70 of 134 and holding it the rest of the way. He picked up time during several green-flag stops during the last stage. Zane Smith came in second, gaining on Heim over the last ten laps, but he was still 1.088 seconds behind at the end. This win was Heim’s first at Kansas Speedway and his seventh career win. He also won on March 23 at the Circuit of the Americas road course in Texas. This week, NASCAR is at Darlington Raceway in South Carolina, and the Buckle Up South Carolina 200 is the Craftsman Truck Series event, set for Friday night at 7:30 pm Eastern time. Bet on the NASCAR Lines for Buckle Up South Carolina 200

Kyle Busch

Obviously, Kyle Busch is the favorite for a reason. He has the all-time wins record in both the Truck Series (66) and the Xfinity Series (102). He also has 63 wins in the Cup Series and is just the third driver in the history of NASCAR to win 100 or more races in any one series. So any time he’s not driving in the top event, he’s going to be a smart pick.

Corey Heim

Heim was able to drive through adversity and get the win last week. With the balancing issues that his truck had over the last 30 laps of the race, he was still able to keep his advantage, fending Smith off at the end. In all eight races this year, Heim has finished in the top five despite having just 128 laps led on the season.

Christian Eckes

Eckes is in second place in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series points standings, just seven points behind Eckes. He came in third at Kansas Speedway last week and has consistently been at the front week after week. In eight starts so far in 2024, he has seven top-ten finishes and four top fives, with 348 total laps led. He either finishes in the top ten or crashes out, as his eighth start ended in a DNF.

Nick Sanchez

Sanchez is the other full-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver with a series win so far in 2024 (Eckes and Heim have each won two). He is in third in the series point standings, 49 points behind Heim. He cracked the top ten again at Kansas Speedway last week. On th eseason, he has five top-ten finishes and four top-fives. He has led 53 laps on the season.
