When the Oklahoma Sooners visit UCLA on Saturday, fans will get a commemorative coin that features NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman, who played for both schools during his collegiate career. He started out at the University of Oklahoma, but he was not suited to run the option, as he was built more as a dropback passer. He transferred to UCLA, where he put up huge numbers for the Bruins and then went to the Dallas Cowboys, where he would lead the team to three Super Bowl titles in four seasons. UCLA has fallen on hard times since then, and even the early weeks of the Chip Kelly era have not proven all that promising. Will Oklahoma deliver a rout, or will UCLA compete on Saturday?
