One of the things that we all love to do before the season starts is spend a ridiculous amount of time debating which teams will be among the elite in NBA betting lines, and who will ultimately win it all. When talking about how the Western Conference would play out this season, there were many people who believed that the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs would be duking it out in the Western Final. To say that both of these teams have gone off script a little is putting it mildly.

NBA Betting Lines Analysis and Game Preview
The Spurs will welcome OKC into the AT&T Center on Wednesday night in hopes of improving their playoff picture. San Antonio has had to deal with more than their fair share of injury woes this season, but they have been healthy for a little while now, and it has made a huge difference to their season. The Spurs spent a good portion of the season on the outside looking in at the playoff picture, but they have been dominant when it really matters, going 8-2 in their last 10 and moving up to the 6th seed in the West. They are beginning to really show off the form that made them a champion last season, and you can bet that this is a team that no-one is looking forward to facing in the postseason. The Oklahoma City Thunder have also underwhelmed at times this year, but they too seem to be getting things right at the perfect time. They are currently holding on to the final playoff spot in the west, and are having to fight tooth and nail to hold off a surging Phoenix Suns team. If you had to pick just one factor that has seen OKC turn things around, you would have to choose Russell Westbrook. I know we are beginning to sound like a broken record when talking about him, but this is a guy that has been in beast mode since winning the MVP at the All-Star Game. He is scoring triple-doubles for fun right now, and seems totally unstoppable. This is another team that is sure to send a little quiver of fear into the teams at the top.
